  Nice place, the pets seem to be well cared and fed, to me 90$ of fee for a kitty may be expensive but believe me, it worths it because you're helping this place which is really awesome how they help them until they get a home.

  We adopted a dog from the Oakland SPCA and we had a great experience there. This shelter is SUPER clean and the animal kennels there are a good size and seem really nice. The staff were nice and there were a good amount rooms were you could privately spend as much time with the animal as you needed.The adoption fee is also a good amount. I liked that we could pay 25 dollars to put the animal on hold for 24 hours so you could come back and see the animal again and if you decide to adopt the animal the money counts as part of the adoption. It also great that all there animals come spayed/nuetered and microchipped. The whole adoption process was great.
